The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is dedicated to educating the public and governmental bodies of their rights and responsibilities under the Public Information Act (PIA). You have the right to make a public information request of Mt.Vernon ISD. All public information requests must be made in writing. The Superintendent has designated Jessica White, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent to facilitate all PIA requests.

A written request should reasonably identify the records needed and should indicate a mailing address, phone number, or other means to contact the requester. • Emailing the request to PIA@mtvernonisd.net
• Hand delivery; or
• Fax the request to 903-537-4784 or electronic submission through the District’s website.
